About the American Music Mentorship Program

The American Music Mentorship Program (AMMP) is a nomination-only professional exchange bringing select mid-career music industry professionals to the United States for intensive mentorship with leaders from the Recording Academy® and the U.S. music industry.

Program Structure

Fellows participate in a two-week residency in New York City featuring mentorship sessions, site visits, expert briefings, and networking events, followed by eight months of virtual mentorship.

Who Are the Fellows

AMMP identifies professionals shaping the industry side of music—those influencing how creative industries function and innovate through their work on systems, structures, and strategies.

The Partnership

This public-private partnership between the U.S. Department of State and the Recording Academy® (the organization behind the GRAMMY® Awards) provides direct access to the networks and standards that make the U.S. music sector a global innovation center.

What You Will Gain

Direct mentorship from Recording Academy® members, including producers, executives, and rights experts; hands-on experience with American industry standards; and professional relationships supporting long-term international collaboration.

Your Nomination

You received this application because a U.S. Embassy or Consulate nominated you. Only invited candidates may apply.
